Transforming the Historic McMill CPAs & Advisors Building with Spray Foam Roofing, Norfolk, NE.

Commercial Roofing Job Description

We applied a commercial roofing product with an elastomeric, acrylic, and a monolithic roof coating, in a bright white finish, to completely waterproof the substrate on this building with a Metal Roof in poor to good condition. A continuous and seamless monolithic membrane enveloped the commercial building's roof.

In addition to roof coatings, we applied a BASF spray polyurethane foam (SPF) system designed for roofing applications.

Additional information about this roofing job:

This roofing project had a flat roof that came off the backside of the building. The roof was over the storage warehouse and loading dock area. The existing roof was a tar and gravel built-up roof.

We removed as much gravel and tar as possible to get down to the existing deck. We started the spray foam process, and we had to build it up in certain areas to taper the water away from the building and drain it into the parking lot. Then we put down a base coat of roof coating and finally a topcoat spray over the entire roof system.

We recommend a Commercial Roofing inspection annually for Spray Foam Roofing systems. The cost for regular maintenance is far less than the cost of a full commercial roof replacement.
